Kerala destinations
Kerala is a place which attracts
most of the tourists with different tastes. Tourists with adventure seekers or
found of nature, Kerala is one destination for all. Kerala also gives beautiful
picturesque scenes. Because of all the good scenes in Kerala, it is also known
as green paradise. Kerala is well known for historical places, temples, hill
stations, backwaters, houseboats, wildlife, beaches, waterfalls, Ayurveda etc. Each
city of the Kerala is famous for one or two attractions. Kerala is one of the

Kumarakom
Kumarakom, located near Kottayam
is well famous for the backwaters. This place is surrounded with the mangroves

Munnar
Munnar is well known for the hills.

home for many threatened and widespread species.
Wayanad
Wayanad is situated where there
are majestic ridges enclose with dense forests, scrambled jungles and deep
valleys. Wayanad has three peaks – chembra peak, banasura peak and brahmagiri
peak. A Wayanad hill also cultivates the tea and coffee plantation, cardamom,
pepper and rubber sprinkled on all over the hills. Wayanad is all about the heritage,
wildlife, aromatic spice gardens and picturesque scenes.
Thekkady
Thekkady has known Periyar
wildlife sanctuary, in Kerala near Tamil Naidu. The Periyar sanctuary has dense
evergreen forests and grass land. It is a home for many fauna like elephants,
sambhar, tigers etc. Periyar is habitat for elephants which come to the lake to
play, is the main attraction.
Alleppey
Alleppay, also known as
Allappuzha is the oldest town in the Kerala. Being the oldest city, it is more
famous for the backwaters. Many tourists flock to the Alleppey only to cruise
in the backwaters. The other tourist destination in Alleppey except the
backwaters are beautiful view of the Arabian Sea, Ambalappuzha Sri Krishna
temple, Edathua church and Champakulam St. Mary's Church.
Cochin
Cochin, also known as Kochi, is
a commercial city of Kerala. All major trading is done through this city only. In
spite of being a commercial centre, Cochin has many attractions for
sightseeing. The tourists attractions in Cochin are bolghatty palace, dutch
palace, jewish synagogue, aattachamayam, cheeyappara waterfalls, chottanikkara
temple, St. Francis temple and many more.
